YGC prevail 6-0 in 22nd KK Memorial 1st Division Football Tournament opener

Imphal, September 21 2026: YGC, Langmeidong overwhelmed PFC, Tokpaching 6-0 as the 22nd KK Memorial 1st Division Football Tournament kicked off this afternoon at DSA Kakching playground.

The tournament organised by DSA Kakching is featuring 7 teams.

Y Dayananda shone with a double for YGC in the lopsided encounter.

Y Priyobarta put YGC ahead in the 28th minute before Dayananda opened his scoring in the 42nd minute to make it 2-0 at halftime.

YGC pressed hard to add more to their tally by the already allerted PFC held firm to deny them.

PFC defence however collapsed towards the end as Henary, who came off the bench in the 71st minute, made it 3-0 for YGC after 84 minutes before Bungningam scored at the stroke of 90th minute to make it 4-0 .

I Deepak and Dayananda then scored 1 and 2 minutes into the stoppage time to complete the 6-0 crushing of the Tokpaching side.
