Women's Cricket : PSC Khuyathong and PTCC Patsoi emerge victorious

PSC Khuyathong and PTCC Patsoi emerged victorious in today's league matches of the 1st MNCA Women's U-23 One day trophy 2024-25 .
PSC Khuyathong beat PCC Mayaikoibi by 18 runs, and PTCC Patsoi beat Al-Ameen Lilong by 94 runs.
At THAU Ground, Thangmeiband, PCC won the toss and opted to field first.
Facing the ball first, PSC amassed 118 runs for 10 wickets in 31.2 overs.
PCC's chase, however, fell short, scoring only 100 for 10 wickets in 23.3 overs.

Thokchom Purni (21 runs off 23 balls), Usham Saliza (17 runs off 52 balls), Anupam Khumanthem (15 runs off 58 balls), Nisha Keisham (5 runs off 4 balls), Maibam Babyriya (5 runs off 7 balls), Vaelina Potsangbam (2 runs off 5 balls), Ningombam Ningthibi (2 runs off 7 balls) and Lovelyn Soyam (1 run off 6 balls) contributed runs to PSC's knock of 118 runs in 31.2 overs.
PCC's Keithelakpam Katrina Devi took 3 wickets.
Her team-mate, Hemam Lingjen Devi dismissed 2 wickets.
Nilopher Tokpam, Manithoi Salam and Rajluxmi Sairem dismissed one wicket each.
In PCC's chase, only Keithellakpam Katrina Devi (31 runs off 68 balls) could score double digit runs.
Rajluxmi Sairem, Manithoi Salam, Taiseelngambi Chabungbam and Soubam Bidya Devi scored zero.
PSC's Nisha Keisham took 4 wickets.

PTCC vs Al-Ameen
At SEDCO ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak, PTCC won the toss and opted to bat first to score 153 runs for 10 wickets in 32.2 overs.
In the chase for the target, Al-Ameen failed terribly, scoring only 59 runs for all wickets down in 30.4 overs.
Shrili Irom displayed fine batting skills as she knocked 51 runs off 92 balls including 3 fours.
Among her team-mates, only Bandana (13 runs off 20 balls) and Yaiphabi Devi Sapam (10 runs off 25 balls) could score 2-digit runs.
Al-Ameen's Linthoi Khulem, Farhana, Laishram Langlenthoibi Devi and Najiya Begum dismissed 2 PTCC wickets each.
For Al-Ameen, Farhana scored 11 runs off 55 balls, the most individual runs for the team.
Linthoi Khulem (4 runs off 47 balls), Sliha (5 runs off 16 balls), Nongmaithem Cherryma Devi (2 runs off 12 balls), Najiya Begum (5 runs off 7 balls), Rabiaa Banu (4 runs off 27 balls) and Laishram Angoubi Devi (4 runs off 11 balls) failed to make meaningful contributions.
Sanjida, Laishram Langlenthoibi Devi, Konthoujam Riya and Pukhrimayum Milky Chanu scored zero runs.
PTCC's Angoubi Devi Khundrakpam took 4 wickets.
Sanaloo Devi Takhelmayum took 3 wickets.
Bandana took 2 wickets.
