AMSTA rejoice over I-Day celebration invitation to 11 individuals

Imphal, August 08 2025: The All Manipur Sepaktakraw Association (AMSTA) has expressed happiness over invitation extended to 11 individuals from Manipur who won medals at the ISTAF Sepaktakraw World Cup 2025, Patna to attend the upcoming Independence Day celebration at Red Ford, Delhi.

The individuals who received invitation from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India to attend the National function are Sorokhaibam Malemnganba (Income Tax Department), Kh Holendro (Manipur Police), Yumnam Akash (SSB), W Henary (SSB), Ayekpam Maipak (SSB), Elangbam Leirentonbi (SSB), Sorokhaibam Elizabeth (SSB), Oinam Chaoba (PET), L Lanchenba and Soibam Diana Devi, AMSTA said in a press release.

The players were invited to the function based on their impressive performances at the International championships, said AMSTA while expressing happiness over the invitation.

In another press release issued today, AMSTA informed all concerned that the general body meeting of the association will be conducted on August 8 from 11 am at the office of IMSUC, Heingang Makha Leikai.

The meeting will discuss various agenda including submission of annual report, tabling of audited statement and fixing schedule for election of executive council for the term 2025 to 2029 and others, it said while inviting members concerned to attend the meeting in time.
