3rd Naga Wrestling Tournament held in Delhi

Imphal, April 01 2025: Poumai Naga Union, Delhi (PNUD), in collaboration with Poumai Naga Tsi-idoumai Me, Delhi (PNTMD), successfully hosted the 3rd Naga Wrestling Tournament, with the patronage of Poumai Employees Welfare Association, Delhi (PEWAD).

The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from wrestlers across Delhi and was graced by MLA L Dikho, who attended as the chief guest.

Winners were honoured with prizes and certificates.

The tournament concluded with Bisekhoto Gwirie (Angami) emerging as the champion, followed by Panumhaung Zeliang as the first runner-up, Sh Veikhole Phuba Poumai as the second runner-up, and Kethokhriezo Pienyii (Angami) securing the third runner-up position.

The event was a resounding success, not only in achieving its objectives but also in fostering unity and sportsmanship among the Poumai community, the organisers informed in press release.
