18th Manipur State League : MPSC, NEROCA FC secure win, TRAU taste defeat

Imphal, January 23 2026: Khundongbam Philips scored a double as NEROCA FC beat Football Club Lamjao 4-2 in the 18th Manipur State League 2025-26 today.

Social Development Club (SDC) beat Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU) 3-0, and Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) beat Ultou FC 1-0 in the other matches of the day.

At the Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong, Mohd Ruhid Khan scored the first goal of the match for NEROCA FA in the 11th minute.

The lead, however, did not last long as Football Club Lamjao found an equalizer in Ningthoujam Arnold Singh in the 15th minute.

Charged by the equalizer, Football Club Lamjao strikers did their best to extend the score, but their defenders couldn't stop Khundongbam Philips as he fired two goals back-to-back in the 44th and 84th minute.

Football Club Lamjao got a second goal from Mohammed Rahish Khan in the 81st minute, but it proved to be their last.

NEROCA FC, on the other hand, improved their lead over Football Club Lamjao to 4-2 through a goal from Wahengbam Abinash in the 88th minute to secure a comfortable win.

SDC vs TRAU

Tiddim Road Athletic Union suffered a 3-0 defeat against Social Development Club (SDC) at the same venue.

Amison Athokpam scored the first goal of the match for SDC in the 51st minute.

Thokchom Naresh Singh and Longjam Shetam Singh added one goal each in the 68th and 90+1 minute.

MPSC vs Utlou FC

Sankhil Japhet Lamkang scored the lone winning goal for MPSC in the 35th minute.
