PTCC outclass AKSDO in MNCA Women's U-23 One Day Trophy

Imphal, April 01 2025: PTCC secured an emphatic 82-run victory against AKSDO in Tuesday's fixture of the 1st MNCA Women's U-23 One Day Trophy 2024-25, held at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak.

AKSDO won the toss and elected to field, but PTCC posted a competitive total of 183/8 in their 35 overs, thanks to a blistering knock of 65 runs off 48 balls by Laishram Teresa, which included five fours and two sixes.

Shrili Irom provided steady support with 37 runs.

For AKSDO, Rabina Khundrakpam (3/16) and Alish Thokchom (2/24) were the standout bowlers.

In reply, AKSDO struggled against PTCC's disciplined bowling attack, collapsing to 101 all out in 29.5 overs.

Captain Taniya Ningthoujam topscored with 29, but the team had no answer to PTCC's trio of bowlers - Khundraipam Anjali Devi (3/14), Bandana (3/17), and Niruka (2/15) .

PTCC's captain, Thoudam Mangalsana, also chipped in with two wickets.
