PSC, PTCC prevail in MNCA Women's U-23 Trophy

PSC registered an 18-run win over PCC by 18 runs in a tightly contested match of the 1ST MNCA Women's U-23 One Day Trophy 202425 at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband, on Thursday.
PCC opted to field and restricted PSC to 118 all out in 31.2 overs.
Keithellakpam Katrina Devi top-scored for PSC with a patient 31 off 68 balls, while Thokchom Purni contributed a brisk 21 .
For PCC, Katrina Devi also shone with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 18 runs.
In reply, PCC were bowled out for 100 in 23.3 overs, despite Katrina Devi's unbeaten 31.Nisha Keisham was the standout bowler for PSC, claiming 4 wickets for 41 runs, supported by Marvi Maibam's economical spell of 2 for 11.PSC's disciplined bowling ensured they defended their total successfully, securing a hard-fought win.
In the day's other fixture, PTCC delivered a dominant performance against AL-AMEEN at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak, Imphal.
Electing to bat first, PTCC posted 153 all out in 32.2 overs, thanks to Shrili Irom's resilient 51 off 92 balls.
AL-AMEEN's bowlers struggled with extras, conceding 63 runs in wides and no-balls.
In response, AL-AMEEN were bundled out for just 59 in 30.4 overs.
Angoubi Devi Khundrakpam was the star with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 19 runs, while Sanaloo Devi Takhelmayum and Bandana chipped in with 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
PTCC's lethal bowling display sealed a convincing 94-run victory.
