Manipur triumph at 21st National Mountain Biking Championship 2025

Imphal, April 01 2025: Manipur emerged as the men's elite team champions at the 21st National Mountain Biking Championship 2025, held in Panchkula, Haryana, from March 28 to 31, 2025 .

The state's cyclists delivered a stellar performance, securing one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal across various events.

Leading the charge was Kharaksing Adonis Tangpu, who clinched gold in the men's elite XCO and added a silver in the men's elite XCT.

Khundrakpam Ronel Singh contributed to the medal tally with a bronze in the men's elite XCO, while Thotmachan Awungshi claimed silver in the men's U-23 XCO category.

The state team, consisting of seven riders and two officials, was guided by team manager Ngathem Pungfa and team coach Dr Tourangbam Alex.

Meanwhile, Manipur Adventure and Mountain Biking Association extended heartfelt congratulations to the athletes and officials for bringing laurels to the state.
