Governor's Cup Polo tournaments rescheduled to April 10

Imphal, April 04 2025: The 31st Governor's Cup Invitation Polo Tournament and the 20th Governor's Cup Women's Polo Tournament, originally scheduled to begin on April 4, have been postponed.

The tournaments will now commence on April 10, 2025, at Imphal Pologround (Mapal Kangjeibung), according to a press release issued by Manipur Horse Riding & Polo Association on Friday.

The 31st Governor's Cup Invitation Polo Tournament will feature eight teams this year.

Participating clubs include MPSC Polo Team - A, MPSC Polo Team - B, Tentha Polo Club, Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club, Black Watch Polo Club, AR Polo Team - A, X-Polo Club, and Chingkheihunba Polo Club.

On the other hand, four teams are set to compete in the 20th Governor's Cup Women's Polo Tournament.

These are AR Women's Polo Team, Imphal Riding Club, MPSC Women's Polo Team, and Ibudhou Pakhangba Polo Club.
