State bodybuilders crowned team champions at National Championship

Imphal, April 01 2025: All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) achieved remarkable success at the 15th Men's Junior/Masters/Divyang Bodybuilding Championship 2025, held in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, on March 29 and 30.Manipur emerged as the team champions, claiming an impressive haul of medals, including four golds, one silver, and three fourth-place finishes.

The team's top finishers included Dhanraj Gupta (X-tream Fitness, Mantripukhi), who won gold in the 70kg category; Jackson Khumbongmayum (World Gym, Yaiskul), who claimed gold in the 75kg category; Ricky Hawaibam (Royal Gym, Ningomthong), who triumphed in the 75kg above category; and K Arnold Singh (MPSC), who secured gold in the 40-50 yrs division.

Yumnam Thomas (City Gym, Uripuk) earned a silver medal in the 75kg category, while S Rohit (Herculese Gym, Yairipok), Leimajam Nongthang Singh (Royal Gym, Ningomthong), and Leishangthem Kumarjit Singh (MPSC) each achieved fourth-place finishes in their respective categories: 60kg, 75kg above, and 50-60 yrs.

The state team was led by N Ratan Singh as manager and Y Nilbir Singh as coach.
