Ishok FC clinch U-13 League title with victory over UFC

Imphal, March 08 2025: Ishok FC pulled off a hard-fought 2-1 victory over UFC to be crowned champions of the 2nd H Panthoibi Devi and H Tomba Singh Memorial U-13 Boys' Football League 2024-25, organised by Ishok Football Club, Bishnupur.

The decisive win in Thursday's final round of fixtures saw Ishok FC edge past TYDA by a single point in the standings, securing the league title.

They concluded their campaign with 11 points, while TYDA finished as runners-up with 10 points.

RFCC claimed third place with 8 points, followed by CRAU (7 points), UFC (3 points), and KYVOSWC (2 points) .

Ishok FC established an early advantage in the first half, scoring twice to seal both the match and the championship.

Huidrom Rishikanta Singh opened the scoring in the 18th minute, but UFC responded swiftly, with Khwairakpam Max Singh equalising in the 20th minute.

However, Yumnam Rahul Singh restored Ishok FC's lead just four minutes later, and his side successfully defended their advantage to secure a memorable triumph.

Meanwhile, RFCC and KYVOSWC played out a 2-2 draw in the final day's other match.
