RCA, MCA, SHADOW, Al-Ameen prevail in 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament

Imphal, January 29 2025: RCA, NCA, SHADOW and Al-Ameen secured dominant victories in the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25 on Wednesday.

RCA inflicted a crushing 184-run defeat on LCC at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong.

Put in to bat, RCA posted a competitive 229/9, with contributions from Masud Alam (64), Md Irfan (43), Farhan Ahmed (17 not out), Sahed Ahmed (16) and Mansur Alam (11) .

RCA then bowled out their opponents in 18 overs for a mere 45 as Albaz Hussain, Lucky Ahmed, Md Irfan and Farhan Ahmed each snapped 2 wickets, with Mutahid Akhter chipping in with 1.NCA outclassed CYSA by 99 runs at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak.

NCA batted first and made 182/8 with Anderson Naorem (50), Leishemba Meitankeishangbam (32), Thongam Rahul (26) and Ahenba Longjam (14) being the key run-getters.

In reply, CYSA wilted under pressure a nd were all out for 83 in 16.4 overs.

Thiyam Bikash and Thingbaijam Avinash ripped apart CYSA's batting lineup, claiming 5 and 4 wickets, respectively, to hand NCA a dominant victory.

Ahenba Longjam added a wicket.

SHADOW brushed aside MPA by 84 runs at Lairenjam Public Ground.

Electing to bat, SHADOW scored204/9 courtesy of Sagatpam Telheiba (59), Kh Devis (44), Arubam Goshan (35), Aribam Ganaraj Sharma (15 not out) and Chinglemba Haobam (12) .

In reply, MPA came up short after being skittled out for 120 in 25.4 overs.

Sagatpam Telheiba led the scalping for SHADOW with 4 wickets, followed by Tomthinnganba Rajkumar (3 wks) and N Pibarel (2).At PTRC Ground, Al-Ameen beat TRAU by 4 wickets.

Al-Ameen restricted TRAU to 190/5 and went on to chase down the target in 28.3 overs as Shohel Akter starred in their win by smashing an unbeaten 114 .
