Imphal, May 11 2024: Ten matches were decided on the second day of the 46th Senior Men & Women State Level Handball Championship 2024 at Lilong Mairenkhong.

PC started the men's fixtures with a resounding 25-11 victory against KKYLDO as K Biju led the scoring with 13 goals, followed by Kh Sarukh (6), E Priyo (4), Ajitjumar (1) and K Langamba (1) for winning team.

In the second match, KVWA brushed aside IMC 31-17 courtesy of Tondonba (10), Ratankumar (9), Samuel 5), Shitaljit (3), Bigyananda 2), Dayananda (1) and Roshikant (1).MPSC, meanwhile, registered an easy 26-10 win over ESU with goals from Rabi (9), Shusil (5), Becker (4), Dinachandra (3), Hemanta (2), Ingocha (1), Mocha (1) and Saratchandra (1) .

YLK eased past IMC 30-13 .

Bikramjit (8), Shilheiba (6), Adison (3), Pravin (2), Henba (2), Bekham (2), Athouba (1) and Lakpati (1) were the contributors to their dominant win.

BBA outplayed NSU 26-18 with goals from Th Ingocha (8) Richard (7), Wangthoi (6), Chaothoiba (3), Naocha (1) and Ibomcha (1) .

Later in the day, ESU beat YWO 28-22, NSU defeated IMC 26-17, and YLK outdid PC 20-7, while OYO were given a walkover against KKYLDO.

In the day's women's event, MPSC outclassed IMC 29-15.M Dimple and Sandhyarani scored six goals each, both Apabi and Laxmi netted five, Sunibala contributed four, Khomeiton got two and Bebina scored one in their triumph.
