PTCC overwhelm AKSDO by 82 runs in 1st MNCA U-23 Women's One Day Trophy

Imphal, April 01 2025: PTCC, Patsoi Part III pulled off a commanding 82-run victory against AKSDO, Khangabok in the third match of the ongoing 1st MNCA U-23 Women's One Day Trophy at Kongba Dhobi Lampak today.

PTCC were asked to bat first and they posted a commanding total of 183/8 riding on a half century from Laishram Terasa (65 off 48 balls; 5 fours and 2 sixes).

PTCC then bundled out AKSDO for 101 runs in 29.5 overs thanks to concerted bowling efforts from Bandana, Khundrakpam Anjali, Thoudam Mangalsana and Niruka.

Irom Shrili 37 off 82, Khundrakpam Angoubi 18 off 29 and Thoudam Mangalsana 14 off 18 also made double digit scores for PTCC in an innings they received 32 extras.

For AKSDO, Khundrakpam Rabina (3/16), Thokchom Alish (2/24) and Thokchom Langlen (2/40) shared 7 wickets before they slumped to 101 all out.

In reply, Ningthoujam Taniya 29 off 59 and Khundrakpam Bijiya 11 off 24 emerged only double digit run getters as Bandana (3/17 in 7 overs) and Khundrakpam Anjali (3/14 in 7 overs) enjoyed three wicket hauls and Thoudam Mangalsana (2/11 in 3.5 overs) and Niruka (2/15 in 5 overs) picked two wickets apiece.

Khundrakpam Anjali who led the bowling attack was adjudged player of the match.
