PTCC outclass FORCE by 56 runs in Women's One-Day Trophy

Imphal, February 28 2025: PTCC dominated FORCE by 56 runs in Friday's fixture of the 4th MN CA Senior Women's One-Day Trophy 2024-25 at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband, on Friday.

Put in to bat, PTCC made 156/8 before their bowlers dismantled FORCE'S chase with clinical precision.

Sijapriyari Chanu Hijam spearheaded the innings with a team-high 27, with contributions from Angoubi Devi Khundrakpam (21), Laishram Bigyapati (15), Sanaloo Takhelmayum (17* off 21) and Khundraipam Anjali Devi (16* off 18) .

FORCE's bowlers shared the spoils, with Farijiya (2/23) and Nazmin Khanam (2/28) claiming two wickets apiece.

Wakila Shani, Rahamatun, and Kh Ruskshad chipped in with one each but struggled to contain PTCC's late surge.

PTCC's attack turned the screws early, reducing FORCE to 100 all out in just 30.5 overs.

Angoubi Khundrakpam (3/15) and Sijapriyari Chanu (3/19) starred with three-wicket hauls, ably supported by Niruka, Bandana, Laishram Bigyapati, and Laishram Binika, who claimed a scalp each.

FORCE's chase crumbled under relentless pressure, with only Mehanaz (38 off 53) offering resistance, while Farijiya's unbeaten 15 proved futile.
