IWDFA clinch Kangleipak Football Trophy title

Imphal, March 12 2023: IWDFA outclassed DSA Bishnupur in the final of the 12th U-17 Boys' Inter District Kangleipak Football Trophy 2023 organised by AMFA in association with KSA.

DSA Bishnupur took the lead in the 16th minute through S Joyson only to be cancelled out by Zahid Khan's 19th-minute leveller for IWDFA.

Bless Vashum made it 2 -1 in the 49th minute and Zahid Khan scored his second and team's third in the 59th minute before Bless Vashum was in action again for their fourth goal in the 70th minute to help IWDFA get their hands on the trophy on Saturday (March 11) .

In other football final match, KSA beat AIMS by a 1-0 margin as Kishan scored the winning goal in the 11th minute.

Meanwhile, Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta (Moidangpok) were the champions of the 8th Kangleipak Thang-Ta Championship 2023.They bagged five gold, one silver and three bronze medals to claim the championship title.

Laiyingthou Kangba Thang-Ta Kangmong finished runners up after winning four gold and one silver.

On the other hand, KKCO (Keishamthong) defeated CRC (Khundrakpam) to win the 12th Kangleipak Kang Trophy 2023 .
