IWDRA shooters sweep all medals in Master Men's Individual 50M Rifle Prone

Shooters of the Imphal West District Rifle Association (IWDRA) bagged as many as three gold, four silver and two bronze medals today in the 33rd All Manipur Shooting Competition 2025 at Taothong, Imphal West.

In the Master Men Individual 50M Rifle Prone event, the Imphal West District Rifle Association (IWDRA) swept all the medals.

The Manipur Rifle Association (MRA), on the other hand, bagged three gold, two silver and one bronze.

The Imphal East District Rifle Association (IEDRA) shooters bagged one gold and one silver medal.

The Manipur Police Sporting Club (MPSC) and National Sports University (NSU) won one bronze medal each.

In the Junior Men's Open Sight 50M Rifle Prone, Nongmaithem Jubaraj Singh of the Manipur Rifle Association (MRA) shot 470 points to secure the gold medal.

Laishram Basanta Singh of the MRA was ranked 2nd with a score of 432 points.

In the Master Men's Open Singh 50M Rifle Prone, RK Chinglen shot gold securing 446 points.

Hanglem Babu Singh of the Imphal West District Rifle Association (IWDRA) secured 443 points to secure the silver medal.

Thongbam Jesusen of Manipur Rifle Association (MRA) secured 440 points to bag the bronze medal.

In Men's Open Singh 50M Rifle Prone event, Imphal West District Rifle Association's Naorem Govindamayi Singh shot gold securing 472 points.

Manipur Rifle Association's K Asish Sharma secured 468 points to win the silver medal ahead of Manipur Police Sporting Club's Nongthombam Kirankant Singh, who scored 466 points and won the bronze medal.

In the women's Open Singh 50M Rifle Prone, Janita Nameirakpam of the Imphal West District Rifle Association won the gold by securing 455 points.

Her closest rival, Thangjam Chanchan of the Imphal East District Rifle Association (IEDRA) secured 453 points and settled for the silver medal.

In the Junior Men's individual 50M Rifle Prone, Manipur Rifle Association's Nongmaithem Jubaraj Singh clinched the gold by shooting 555 points.

Imphal West District Rifle Association's Leeojun Leishangthem shot 553 points to win the silver medal.

Oinam Labish Singh of the National Sports University (NSU) shot 548 points to settle for bronze.

In the Master Men Individual 50M Rifle Prone event, the Imphal West District Rifle Association (IWDRA) swept all the medals.

Its shooters-Raj Kumar Sanahal Singh (570 points), Langoljam Hector (565 points) and Nongmaithem Ranveer Singh (551 points) won the gold, silver and the bronze respectively.

In the Men's Individual 50M Rifle Prone, Manipur Rifle Association's K Asish Sharma shot gold by scoring 570 points.

Imphal West District Rifle Association's Raj Kumar Sanahal Singh (570 points) and Langoljam Hector (565 points) won the silver and the bronze medal respectively.

In the Women's Individual 50M Rifle Prone, Imphal East District Rifle Association's Kshetrimayum Nisha Chanu beat fellow shooter Narumbam Isha Devi to secure the gold.

Kshetrimayum Nisha Chanu shot a total of 541 points to defeat Narumbam Isha Devi, who scored 535 points to rank second in the event.
