AKSDO Khangabok, YUCC Kwakeithel Moirangpurel, RCA Lilong and PCC Mayaikoibi entered the semifinals of the 2nd MNCA Men's U-23 Haobam Biramangol Singh Memorial Trophy 2024-25 post their quarterfinal wins today.
AKSDO Khangabok beat ESU Wangkhei Palace Compound by 42 runs.
YUCC Kwakeithel Moirangpurel beat YWC Langthabal by 55 runs.
RCA Lilong beat CYCLONE Thangmeiband by a massive 228 runs.
PCC Mayaikoibi beat KASC Khomidok by 16 runs.

AKSDO vs ESU
In the quarterfinal match between AKSDO and ESU at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong, the former won the toss and opted to bat first to amass a total of 151 runs for 9 wickets in 40 overs.
ESU succumbed scoring only 109 runs for 10 wickets in 31.4 overs.
For AKSDO to reach 151, Chingamba Elangbam knocked 54 runs off 88 balls including 4 fours.
Sanayai Ningthoujam (30 runs off 32 balls), Laishram Samson Meetei (16 runs off 45 balls), Rohit Laishram (13 runs off 13 balls), Akash Laishram (10 runs off 13 balls), Winchelly Laishram (8 runs off 11 balls), Borish Khundrakpam (5 runs off 26 balls), Saikhom Dinesh (3 runs off 4 balls), Bishorjit Mangang (1 run off 5 balls) and Bidyasagar Khundrakpam (1 run off 1 ball) contributed runs to AKSDO's 151 runs.
ESU's Hanjabam Donba Sharma took 2 wickets.
Bishomcha Khundrakpam, Thokchom Simesh, Hanjabam Naoba Sharma and Soibam Sayonba Singh dismissed one AKSDO wicket each.
In the chase for the target, ESU performed poorly with only Sagolshem Ronal Meitei (26 runs off 57 balls), Soibam Sayonba Singh (16 runs off 22 balls) and Hanjabam Naoba Sharma (16 runs off 33 balls) scoring 2-digit runs.
Sanayai Ningthoujam took 5 ESU wickets.
Winchelly Laishram took 2 wickets.
Akash Laishram and Rohit Laishram dismissed one wicket each.
YUCC vs YWC
At Lairenjam Public Ground, YUCC won the toss and opted to bat first to score 150 runs for 10 wickets in 34 overs.
Facing superb YUCC bowling and fielding, YWC failed to reach the target and ended up scoring only 95 runs for 10 wickets in 29.4 overs.
Ningthoujam Sanjit Singh knocked 6 fours and 1 four, and scored 40 runs off 44 balls, the most individual runs for YUCC.
Ningthoujam Thoungamba Meitei (11 runs off 29 balls), Laishram Bidyashwor Singh (18 runs off 18 balls), Ningthoujam Rohit Singh (11 runs off 10 balls), M Amitkiyon (3 runs off 6 balls), Kadamjit Moirangthem (16 runs off 33 balls), Prithibiraj Laishram (10 runs off 26 balls), Devraj Nongthombam (11 runs off 18 balls) and Rahulkumar Ningthoujam (5 runs off 14 balls) contributed runs to YUCC's total knock of 150 runs in 34 overs.
Maibam Subash Singh and Heishnam Manikanta took 3 YUCC wickets each.
Sorokhaibam Dalish Singh took 2 wickets.
Yumnam Chingkhei Nganba and Soubam Robinson Singh dismissed one wicket each.
In YWC's failed chase, Heishnam Manikanta scored 32 runs off 36 balls, and his team-mate, Yumnam Chingkhei Nganba knocked 20 runs off 50 balls.
All the other batsmen failed to contribute any significant runs.
Sorokhaibam Dalish Singh scored 0 off 1 ball.
Kadamjit Moirangthem, Devraj Nongthombam and Rahulkumar Ningthoujam dismissed 3 YWC wickets each.

RCA vs CYCLONE
At Model Higher Secondary Ground, Syed Hussain knocked an impressive 127 runs off 95 balls including 8 fours and 5 sixes for RCA to deny CYCLONE a semifinal spot.
RCA opted to bat first and set up a massive score of 318 runs for 10 wickets in 40 overs.
In reply, CYCLONE managed to score only 90 runs for 10 wickets in 23.5 overs.
Following Syed Hussain's lead, Zuned knocked 9 fours and 3 sixes, and scored a massive 78 runs off 56 balls.
Md Imran Khan (29 runs off 32 balls), Md Alfash (28 runs off 25 balls), Zamir Khan (24 runs off 12 balls) and Syed Sami ul (6 runs off 30 balls) contributed runs to RCA's 318 runs.
CYCLONE's Arubam Tyson Singh, Thomsan Moirangthem and Ronald Khwairakpam took one wicket each.
In the chase for the target, only an undefeated Thomsan Moirangthem (41 runs off 69 balls) could score 2-digit runs.
Ronaldo Khwairakpam, Rishi, Lokeshor Khumanthem and Robinson Sougaijam scored zero.
RCA's Zamir Khan took 4 wickets.
Aziz Mirza and Zuned dismissed one wicket each.
PCC vs KASC
At Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur, PCC opted to bat first and scored 193 runs for 10 wickets in 36.1 overs.
In reply, KASC could score only 177 runs for 8 wickets in 40 overs.
In PCC's knock of 193 runs, Rahis Khan (35 runs off 41 balls), Takhelmayum Vikash (31 runs off 18 balls), Bobby Meitei Khangembam (29 runs off 32 balls), Lucky Thokchom (22 runs off 25 balls), Rojer Laishram (15 runs off 38 balls), Maverick Wakambam (8 runs off 27 balls), Mairembam Lucky Meitei (8 runs off 29 balls), Boocker Kangujam (5 runs off 3 balls), Ziad Khan (4 runs off 5 balls) and Anjan Loitongbam (1 run off 1 ball) contributed runs.
