Imphal, February 21 2023: Kangpokpi district magistrate has advised all authorised arms license holders to submit the license and deposit the registered firearms at the police stations concerned by March 1 for re-verification.

In a notification, DM Kengoo Zuringla informed that the arms license issued by the district magistrate, as per the Arms Act, 1959 and the Arms Rule, 2016 should be submitted/deposited for reviewing, validating, updating, etc.

The DM further cautioned that the license(s) would be deemed to be cancelled without further notice if not submitted before the specified date.
