Imphal, July 14 2024: To commemorate World Youth Skills Day, Assam Rifles conducted a 'Youth Skills Workshop' at Phundrei and Serou villages of Thoubal and Kakching districts respectively from July 7 to 13 on carpentry, tailoring and electrical trades.

The workshop held simultaneously at was participated by 42, majority of them from Heirok village.

At the end of the workshop, the participants were provided basic tools for all three trades (carpentry, tailoring and electrical work) to encourage them become self-reliant and resourceful, said a release of PRO IGAR (S) .
