Hand grenade planted at Saina Institute

Imphal, May 11 2024: Unidentified miscreants planted a hand grenade at Saina Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), located to the south of Porompat Traffic Point under Porompat Police Station on Saturday morning.

According to a police report, the hand grenade was found wrapped with a black colour plastic and placed in front of the reception counter of the Institute at around 10am on Saturday.

On receiving the news, a team of Porompat PS arrived at the Institute and safely retrieved the grenade.

Police have registered a case in this regard.
