Imphal, September 30 2025: Members of Progressive Writers' Association (PWA), Manipur organised a condolence meeting to mourn the passing of noted writer Moirangthem Rajen Singh from Tentha Khunjao Mayai Leikai.

He passed away on September 29 due to an illness.

According to a press release, the condolence meeting was held at Irawat Bhavan, BT Road, Imphal and was presided over by PWA president Ibosana Khuman.

The gathering observed a 2-minute silence.

Saying that his passing will leave a void in the world of literature, PWA has extended solidarity to the bereaved family.
