Noney, August 21 2025: Assam Rifles, continuing its commitment towards the welfare of local communities, distributed essential commodities to villagers at village Haoc-hong, in Noney district, on Tuesday on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day.

The initiative was aimed at extending support to underprivileged families and strengthening the bonds between the security forces and the local populace.

Essential commodities including rice, pulses, cooking oil and salt were distributed to 30 individuals from different households, providing relief in the face of challenges faced by the villagers due to limited connectivity and resources.
