Committee bans sale of land in Meetei Langol

Imphal, November 13 2023: 91-Meitei Langol Coordinating Committee has imposed ban on sale and purchase of land in 91-Meitei Langol area, in addition to the bans imposed by other organisations previously.

In a press meet held at Manipur Press Club, here, on Monday, Committee advisor S Dhruva said that there are reports of people belonging to other communities trying to settle in Meitei Langol area.

However, as no outsider is allowed to reside in the area, all concerned are urged to stop buying land in the area.

Anyone found defying the ban imposed by the Committee will be solely responsible for any resultant consequences, he cautioned.
