World Breastfeeding Week observed

Imphal, August 08 2025: Department of Community Medicine of Churachandpur Medical College (CMC) observed Word Breastfeeding Week 2025 at its Kyamgei campus on Thursday.

The observance was attended by CMC administrator professor Gangmei Angam, dean (academics) professor Ch Arunkumar, sub-dean Dr Okram Sharda, faculty members, staff, FMG interns, ASHA & Anganwadi workers and village level federations.

The observance programme also had a lecture on Galactagogue for Breastfeeding Mothers delivered by Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology associate professor Dr O Sharda and a quiz competition.
