Imphal, June 04 2022: Patriotic Writers' Forum, Manipur will commemorate the 22nd death anniversary of Arambam Samarendra on the theme 'Arambam Samarendra: Pioneer Writer of Manipuri Cinema' on June 10 .

In a release, PAWF secretary Rakesh Naorem informed that the morning session of the observance would be held at Nungshikol Park, Lamlai by paying floral tribute to the statue of Samarendra, followed by the main commemorative function at Manipur Press Club.

As a part of the observance, a poetry session titled, 'Arambam Samarendra Sheitha Seireng Sheidinnabagi Thouram' will also be conducted.
