Club urges repairing of bridges

Imphal, February 28 2025: Naharol Chaokhat Thourang Club (NCTC), Bamon Kampu Mayai Leikai has appealed to the Rural Engineering Department to complete/initiate repairing of the Bailey bridge and the hanging bridge over the Iril river at Bamon Kampu Mayai Leikai at the earliest.

In a release, NCTC said both bridges serve as vital link villagers and farmers on either side of the river.

It also urged the Public Works Department to repair the dilapidated roads in the locality at the soonest possible.
