One more Assam Rifles man succumbs

Imphal, January 29 2025:
A fourth trooper of 33 Assam Rifles stationed at Waroiching Keithemnabi, who was admitted to RIMS hospital with complaints of vomiting and diarrhoea, died on Wednesday due to suspected food poisoning.
According to a report, the deceased trooper was Laltlan Kima (40) s/o Pachhuny of Aizawl in Mizoram.
The other three deceased personnel were identified as Rama Shankar s/o Kapil Dav Ram of UP; Umesh Kumar (49) of Pokhara, Bihar; and Phoolchand (56) of Indra Nagar Colony, Uttarakhand.
Meanwhile, two other personnel Gagan and Ghanashyam are currently undergoing treatment at Medicine ICU of RIMS Hospital.
