Imphal, July 28, 2012: Secretary of the Union Water Resources Ministry DV Singh would arrive here on August 1 to review the projects being implemented in the State under Accelerated Irrigation Programme.

He would leave Imphal next day.

Meanwhile, the State Government has prepared a proposal to be put before the visiting Secretary to take Chakpi River Project under the Ministry of Water Resources, conveyed an official source.
