Imphal, April 06 2025: A child in conflict with law (CCL) has been rounded up by police for his alleged involvement in sexually assaulting a 10-year old girl child.

According to a statement of Manipur Police Control Room, a girl of 10 years hailing from Chandel but currently residing in Churachandpur was admitted to Churachandpur district hospital after sexual assault.

On receiving the report, Churachandpur women police and Manipur police rushed to the district hospital.

After identifying the accused, they conducted a search and apprehended him from Zion Veng under Tuibong sub-division, Churachandpur.
