Imphal, June 19:
Under the Border Area Development Project (BADP), a free medical camp was organised by the PHC Khangkhui Khullen from May 22 to June 14 at the border area of Ukhrul and Myanmar under the supervision of PHC in-charge Dr Yuithingla and Dr M Kenedy, informed a release.
Altogether 1650 people belonging to 23 border villages were examined and provided medicines free of cost to the needy patients during the camp.
Moreover, awareness programmes on AIDS, malaria, TB, immunisation and hygiene were also conducted by the sideline of the free medical camp, added the release.
