Imphal, April 29: Following the retirement of Additional Chief Engineer (Power)-I H Narendra Singh, SE (Transmission Circle) Nandeibam Sarat Singh has been appointed as the in-charge Additional Chief Engineer (Power)-I of the State Electricity Department.

An order to this effect was issued by the Principal Secretary (Power) DS Poonia today.

According to the order, in-charge SE as AO (Power) H Maniton Singh has also been appointed as the in-charge of Additional Chief Engineer (Power)-II in place of N Shyamsunder Singh who has retired from the post.

Both the appointment are made as a stop-gap arrangement in their respective grade pay without any remuneration with immediate effect and until further orders in public interest, the order added.
