Imphal, March 19 2018: A free training programme on cultivation of mushroom was organised by RAMA Foundation (RAMAF), from March 15 till yesterday, at Nagamapal RIMS Road.

A press release issued by the PRO of RAMAF today mentioned that around 10 trainees from four districts of the State, namely Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal and Churachandpur, participated in the training programme.

Soram Rajendra Kumar, Regional Achiever Awardee, talked on scientific methods of mushroom cultivation, cooking, diseases, poisonous mushrooms, marketing and financial assistance, how to create manure from wastages like varmiculture and vermicompost etc, as the resource person.
