Imphal, March 12 2026: The Association of Indian Private Universities (AIPU) has announced the appointment of Dr N Irabanta Singh as its senior vice president (university affairs) .

The appointment was made official via a letter issued by the AIPU president on March 6, 2026 .

Dr Singh will serve in the position for a period of two years, from March 6, 2026, to March 5, 2028 .

The appointment letter highlights that this recognition is based on Dr Singh's professional achievements and extensive experience in academic engagement.
