Imphal, September 23 2016: A one-day training programme for persons with disabilities (PWDs), families and other stakeholders was held at Komlathabi (Kapaam) village in Chandel district yesterday.

The programme was organized by Society for Health and Educational Development (SHED) under the sponsorship of National Institute of Empowerment for Persons with Multiple Disabilities, Chennai, Government of India.

SEMCO's Assistant Professor Ng Khosimgak Moyon, SSA Chandel's Special Teacher Lanu Pinky and Chongchong graced the programme as the chief guest and resource persons respectively.

Altogether, around 120 differently abled persons, parents and CSO leaders attended the programme.
