Imphal, April 29: A meeting chaired by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh today discussed the projects/schemes to be taken up under the Special Plan Assistance (SPA) amount of Rs 550 crores allotted to the State for the current fiscal year.

During the meeting attended by Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioners and Secretaries, the Chief Minister also given necessary instruction to all the Departments for preparing and submitting the detailed project reports (DPRs) of the projects/schemes to be taken up at the earliest possible.

Furthermore, the meeting deliberated on ensuring that the required funds are released by the Union Planning Commission within two-three weeks of submission of the DPRs.
