Boy found dead hanging, one injured in blast

Imphal, July 28 2012: An 18-year old lad was found dead hanging in his house at Uribok Sinam Leikai at around 8 pm yesterday.

Post-mortem on the deceased identified as Angom Suresh s/o A Angoubi of Uripok Sinam Leikaiwas conducted at JNIMS today.

The body was later handed over to his family members.

In another unrelated incident, unidentified miscreants exploded a bomb near a culvert at Sangaiyumpham part II Moirang Palli Keithel under Thoubal Police Station at around 7:40 pm yesterday.

In the incident, one Sanahanbi Begum (50) w/o Md Nahatomba, who was passing that side sustained injuries.

She was taken to Thoubal district hospital for treatment.

Condemning the bomb blast, womenfolk of Sangaiyumpham area staged sit-in protest demonstration today.
