Imphal, February 21 2025: Seven candidates of Higher Secondary Examination 2025 being conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) have been expelled from the exam on the charge of impersonation.

The candidates were appearing in the higher secondary examination (Arts stream) at Nongpok Ma-heikol, Brahmapur Aribam Leikai, Imphal East before they were expelled on February 20.An order issued by COHSEM Secretary Kh Ashikumar said that the seven candidates are debarred from appearing in the higher secondary examination for two consecutive years (2026 and 2027) .
