Sharda resigns from Waqf board

Imphal, September 08 2026: Rajya Sabha MP A Sharda Devi and Koijam Modhusudon have resigned as members of the 8th Waqf Board, Manipur.

Resignation letters submitted by Sharda and Modhusudon on September 3 and September 4 have been accepted by the Govt as per an order issued by Joint Secretary (MA) Gangmei Ganguilu today.
