Imphal, June 04 2022: Altogether 53 samples were tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours but not a single positive case was detected.

Moreover, there is neither any report of Covid related death nor recovery or discharge of Covid-19 positive persons during the last 24 hours.

Nonetheless, the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives in the State.

The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,241 (general population 1,32,227 and Central security personnel 5,014) .

This figure includes five active cases, all civilians and 1,35,116 recovered cases (general population 1,30,109 and Central security personnel 5,007) .

The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.

The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 29,05,132 (first dose 15,71,553, second dose 12,34,920 and precautionary dose 98,659) .

Till Friday, 61.89 per cent of the State's total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 52.36 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
