JAL points at KNA(B), debunks allegations

Imphal, July 14 2024: Categorically saying that the terrorists who attacked security forces and killed a CRPF jawan at Jiribam this morning were cadres of KNA(B) and its allies, the Jiri Apunba Lup (JAL) has debunked all the allegations, false narratives and rumours spread by Kuki Inpi, ITLF, COTU and their sister organisations.

JAL has strongly condemned the brutal attack carried out by Kuki-Zo terrorists, KNA(B) and its allies on the innocent residents of Meitei villages.

Through a press statement, JAL expressed its deepest condolences to the family of CRPF jawan Ajay Kumar Jha, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty during a heinous attack by KNA(B) terrorists.

"On the contrary, they are blaming Manipur Police Commando, Arambai Tenggol, UNLF and CRPF DIG Premjit Meetei for the attack which is baseless and full of lies", it said.

CRPF stays neutral in protecting every citizen of India.

They retaliated only when one of their personnel was killed by Kuki-Zo terrorists KNA(B), it asserted.

Several State forces personnel have been killed while bravely defending innocent citizens from Kuki-Zo terrorists KNA(B) and its allies, JAL said.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families during this difficult time.

We demand the authorities to take swift and decisive action to bring the perpetrators of these attacks to justice.

Such acts of violence and terror cannot be tolerated in a civilized society", it asserted.

It also expressed solidarity with the security forces who have been risking their lives to protect innocent citizens.

"Their sacrifice and dedication are invaluable, and we owe them our utmost respect and support.

We call upon the Government to reinforce security measures in vulnerable areas to prevent such incidents in the future.

The safety and well-being of our citizens must be a top priority.

In these trying times, it is crucial that we come together as a united front against terrorism and violence", it said.

Kuki-Zo armed terrorists have been on an ethnic cleansing campaign driven by a sinister intention to wipe out indigenous Meitei community since May 3, 2023 .

They target every woman, child and even old were not spared.

Houses were bulldozed and levelled to the ground .

After they did all these evil acts punishable by law, the Kuki Inpi, ITLF, COTU and their sister organisations have been making all kinds of wild allegations, false narratives and spreading rumours like wildfire blaming Meitei communities in their every press note.

Their fabricated idea of demanding separate administration or UT or whatever it is were cast in their every press note and communique which are full of lies and concocted statements, JAL remarked.

It then appealed to the relevant authorities to crack down on the Kuki-Zo narco-terrorists by abrogating SoO in order to maintain peace and security in the State.
