Imphal, February 28 2025: Kangpokpi police and CRPF (115 Battalion) arrested at least four cadres of Kuki National Front-P (KNF-P) from Koubru Leikha today at around 7.30 am.

They were arrested during a search operation carried out under the direction of Kangpokpi SP.

KNF-P is a signatory of the Suspension of Operation (SoO) pact signed with the Government.

The arrested cadres have been identified as Lungousem Kipgen (29) s/o Seikhohao Kipgen of Phaijol Village, Kangpokpi; Letminlal Kipgen (25) of Ebenezer Village; Satminlun Tuboi (24), s/o Letmang Tuboi and Thanggoulun Kilong (27), s/o Sonkhothang Kilong of Luwangsanggol Village.

On interrogation, it has been learnt that the cadres are working under one Gogou Kipgen @ Jamin of the outfit (KNF-P) .

They have been handed over to Kangpokpi police station for further interrogation.
