Robinhood's last rites on Sep 3

The funeral rites of Sapam Robinhood, who was killed in police action against protesters demanding ILPS, will be performed on September 3 and educational institutions will be reopened after the last rites of Robinhood are performed.
These are among other points of agreement reached between the Govt of Manipur and JCILPS during a meeting today.
Consequent upon the agreement made between the Govt of Manipur and leaders of the Joint Committee on ILPS (JCILPS) on Aug 25, the two parties today made another agreement to translate the agreement into action.
The two parties agreed that a complex be reserved where the funeral rites of S Robin-hood be performed and the Govt of Manipur would provide all the financial and logistic support in the development of the complex.
The two parties agreed on unconditional release of all persons detained in connection with the ILPS movement.
It was also agreed that there will be no victimisation on any person involved in the ILPS demand movement.
The Govt and JCILPS agreed that all persons who were injured during the course of the movement would be provided financial assistance by the Govt.Subsequent upon the agreements on performing the last funeral rites of S Robin-hood and the unconditional release of all persons currently under detention, all forms of agitation would remain suspended, the two parties agreed.
The agreement was signed by M Yaiskul, Special Secretary (Home), Kh Ratan con- vener in-charge, JCILPS and Ch Hemchand, chairman, JAC against the brutal killing of S Robinhood.
