State mourn the demise of Sushma Swaraj; CM among other fly to Delhi to attend her funeral

The untimely demise of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj yesterday evening.
All scheduled state function have been cancelled to mourn the demise of the dynamic political leader o the country.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh condole the demise of Sushma Swaraj terming it as a great lost of the country.
He recalled on how Sushma Swaraj started her political carrier.
Talking to media persons the Chief Minister said that all scheduled function will be cancelled IPR Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh also condoled the sudden and untimely demise of former External Affairs Minister Smt Sushma Swaraj yesterday at 67 .
Biswajit has said that Smt Sushma Swaraj was not just a leader of the party, but one of the brightest women our country has witnessed. Smt Swaraj had the best of the country's international interests in mind and contributed most in strengthening international relations with the country during her tenure as the country's external affairs minister, he added.
Biswajit also said that he has had the privilege of interacting and sharing some few moments with the beloved leader.
He said during some of his own foreign tours as a minister, Smt.
Sushma Swaraj had always been there to provide any form of assistance.
Biswajit said that in her sudden demise, the country has lost one of our tallest leaders.
"I share the grievances of the family and supporters in this hour of grief," he added.
Biswajit also observed a two minute silence with the staff and officials of both RD&PR and Textiles, Commerce and Industries in remembrance of the departed soul.
