AR organises motivational lecture; interaction

Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) conducted a motivational lecture on 'Importance of Education and Sports' at St Vincent School, Zoldam village (near Indo-Myanmar border), Chandel district on Friday.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) conveyed that keeping with the undeterred effort of AR to reach out to youth of the region, the lecture was conducted to educate the students of the school located in Indo Myanmar border.
Around 300 students, teachers and parents attended the event, wherein the importance of good education and regular physical activities through games and sports was assimi-ated, it added.
Meanwhile, AR under the aegis of Headquarters IGAR (South) conducted 'A Day with Company Commander' at Company Operating Base at Tengnoupal, another release by PRO IGAR (S) said.
The release mentioned that 260 students from IDP camps from various schools of Tengnoupal participated in the event.
During the event, numerous activities like motivational lecture, sack race, dodge ball, musical chair, volleyball match and other activities were organised.
The event concluded with distribution of prizes to the winners followed by refreshments, it stated.
Similarly, a separate release by PRO IGAR (S) informed that AR under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) hosted 'A Day with Company Commander' at the Company Operating Base (COB), Chandrakhong.
Titled 'A Day with Company Commander, ' the event brought together around 85 students from Chandrakhong-Phanjakhong High School, ranging from 3rd to 10th grade.
The day was dedicated to fostering a spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship and raising awareness about the Indian Army, it added.
The release continued that throughout the day, students participated in a variety of games, such as jalebi race, spoon and marble, sack race and blind shot, showcasing their skills and competitive spirit.
The event concluded with the distribution of gifts and prizes to the students, in recognition of their enthusiastic participation, it said.
