AR holds security meet, dedicates hall

Imphal, March 10 2025: Assam Rifles conducted a security meeting on Sunday at Aina village in Churachandpur district to engage the locals and village chiefs in discussing security issues, strengthen cooperation and enhance mutual trust between security forces and villagers.

Following the interaction, a friendly volleyball match was also played between Assam Rifles personnel and local youth of Aina village thereby fostering camaraderie and community engagement, said a release issued by PRO IGAR (S) .

Meanwhile, Assam Rifles dedicated a newly constructed community hall to village authority of Kachoubung-K in Kamjong district.

The community hall constructed under Operation Sadbhavna project will provide local community a well-equipped space for social, cultural, and administrative activities, besides serving as a central hub to aid the residents organise public meetings, cultural programmes and social gathering.

According to the PRO, the facility will also play a crucial role in disaster response, welfare initiatives and developmental planning for the village.
