Imphal, March 10 2025: Reach Dredging Limited organised a one-day voluntary blood donation camp at Shija Blood Centre & Transfusion Services, Langol, as part of National Safety Week (March 4-10) on Monday.

The camp had participation of 20 donors, highlighting the significance of community service and health awareness.

Informing this, a statement issued by centre said that the blood donation drive was conducted under the ongoing Rejuvenation of the Lamphelpat Waterbody project, which Reach Dredging Limited has been spearheading since September 2023 .

In observance of National Safety Week, the Lamphelpat project site also hosted a series of activities, including mock drills, fire-fighting exercises, quiz competitions, and social service initiatives, reinforcing the company's dedication to workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and social welfare.

Shija Blood Centre & Transfusion Services expressed its gratitude to Reach Dredging Limited and all donors for their contribution, emphasising that voluntary blood donation remains crucial for patient care by ensuring timely access to safe blood.
