Royal Riders Manipur celebrates anniv

Maintaining that it has been contributing to conservation of environment, Royal Riders Manipur has stated that it will sustain effort to protect and preserve the environment.
The Royal Riders Manipur celebrated its 18th foundation day at its Meitei Langol office on Monday along with unfurling of its flag and offering of floral tributes to photographs of deceased members.
Speaking on the occasion, president RK Tombisana highlighted that Royal Riders Manipur was formed in 2007 with the aim of assisting people living in remote areas where government services and benefits often fail to reach.

In addition to its environmental efforts, Royal Riders members have been actively helping people in these outlying areas who are facing various challenges.
He further mentioned that the group has been planting trees in remote regions and hills in an effort to preserve the environment.
Health camps were also organised in these areas, offering free medicines to those in need.
While its activities were temporarily halted due to the ongoing crisis in the state, they plan to resume as soon as the situation improves, he announced.
The function was also attended by members from over 10 different riders' clubs.
