Libraries notified to register on portal before Aug 15

Imphal, August 08 2025: State Central Library, Imphal has notified government public libraries and those run by NGOs to register on the "National Register of Public Libraries" portal before August 15, failing which the defaulting libraries will be excluded from the beneficiary list.

In a release, State Central Library chief librarian Dr RK Urmila Devi explained that as per the recommendation of Foundation Committee of Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation (RRRLF), a new online portal titled National Register of Public Libraries" has been developed for managing all applications under various schemes of RRRLF .

The primary objective of this portal is to enable online submission, recommendation, authorisation, processing, and sanctioning of applications under various schemes, the chief librarian informed, adding that the State Library Planning Committee (SLPC), Manipur has instructed its convener to implement the registration process with immediate effect on the portal : https://online.rrrlf.gov.in/HomePage/ .
