Thoubal College celebrates 62nd anniversary

Thoubal, August 08 2025: Thoubal College celebrated its 62nd foundation day on Friday with a prize distribution ceremony and cultural programmes at the college's multipurpose hall.

The event, jointly organised by Thoubal College Teachers' Association (TCTA) and Thoubal College Students' Union, was attended by principal professor A Nabachandra, TCTA president N Ibobi and English Department head Dr K Tejrani Devi as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

As part of the celebration, students who secured top positions in various competitions at both the state and national levels, as well as Those who excelled in events organised by Manipur University and the college, were felicitated with cash awards, trophies, and certificates of recognition.

Speaking on the occasion, principal Nabachandra encouraged students to stay committed to their goals.

"Every student is capable of achieving accolades through dedication and hard work, just like those who have been honoured today,'' he said, advising students to continue striving until they reach their goals.

The event also featured cultural performances by students, showcasing their talents across various fields, adding vibrancy to the celebration.
